THE CITY TALK
ANA, TELL ME SOMETHING PEOPLE SAY ABOUT SÃO PAULO THAT IS TRUE.
When people come here for the first time they hate it. They’ll see the ugly São Paulo. There is a lot of ugly places in São Paulo, it’s grey, it’s polluted, it’s not well taken care of. But once you get used to it you don’t want to be anywhere else in the world. This is going to happen to you too, Lisa!
ONE DAY MAYBE (LAUGHS). BUT YOU KNOW MY HEART BELONGS TO RIO.
(Laughs).
TELL ME SOMETHING THAT IS FALSE ABOUT SÃO PAULO.
That it’s dangerous. Don’t you feel like that? I mean I feel safe in São Paulo. I feel the worst thing that could happen is someone stealing my cellphone. I don’t feel like it’s a violent city. I know violence happens but I think it’s safer than people think.
WHERE IS THE PLACE YOU FEEL BETTER IN SÃO PAULO?
The hospital.
YOU’RE CRAZY!
Hahaha. Also I love my house. I like to walk around my neighborhood. I feel at home here.
A GOOD PLACE TO EAT HERE?
Casserole in the center of SP, have you been there?
NO!
You have to! It’s beautiful. It’s French but the place, the mood, it’s so beautiful. You’re going to love it.
WHAT IS YOUR IDEAL SUNDAY?
Late wake-up, which means 8:30 am right now. It’s my new noon. Have breakfast with all the kids at home. Have lunch at Rodeio. Go to the park in the afternoon with all my children. They’re young, I only think about them for now. In the perfect weekend, I would spend Saturday night with my husband without the kids. And to finish my Sunday, order pizza at home and watch Dancing with the Stars and probably fall asleep by 9:30 pm.
EARLY BEDTIME ARE THE BEST! THANK YOU SWEET ANA!
My pleasure !
